Representing the University of Buffalo, the Bulls college basketball team plays at Division I level in the Mid-American Conference East Division. Bulls' history highlights include six appearances in the NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship between 1957 and 1965 and two showings at the National Invitation Tournament. The Bulls enjoy a longstanding rivalry with the Bonnies.
Current Bulls' hoops hopes may weigh heavy on coach Jim Whitesell to continue the steady progression of his predecessors Bobby Hurley and Nate Oats in positioning the Bulls on the brink of next-level advancement.
