Silva was originally scheduled to face former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez, but Rodriguez withdrew from the fight. Delgado stepped in for the biggest opportunity of his UFC career — and gets it in his home state of Arizona.

Delgado is dangerous enough to make the opening exchanges interesting, but Silva has already demonstrated that his power and pressure translate against established UFC featherweights.
The Fighting Nerds standout has won six of his seven UFC fights. His run includes stoppage victories over Charles Jourdain, Drew Dober and Melsik Baghdasaryan, plus a submission of Bryce Mitchell. After losing to Diego Lopes at Noche UFC in 2025, Silva responded with a unanimous-decision victory over Arnold Allen in January.
Delgado presents different problems.
At 5-foot-11 with a 73-inch reach, he will have significant physical advantages over the 5-foot-7 Silva, whose listed reach is 69 inches. Delgado also owns legitimate finishing ability: six of his professional victories have come by knockout and four by submission.

Delgado owns the clear size and reach advantage. Silva owns the more proven UFC résumé.
That contrast should define the fight.
Delgado's best chance is to maintain distance, force Silva to cross the longer range and punish aggressive entries. Silva will want to turn the bout into something far less comfortable — pressure Delgado toward the fence, create exchanges and make the fight increasingly chaotic.
Silva is one of the featherweight division's most dangerous finishers.

Delgado stands 5-foot-11 with a 73-inch reach compared with Silva at 5-foot-7 and 69 inches. If he can establish his jab, maintain range and make Silva pay for closing distance, the underdog could frustrate the favorite.
He also has the advantage of fighting in Arizona.
Delgado trains at MMA Lab and enters his first UFC main event with an opportunity to transform his position in the featherweight division almost overnight.
The concern is whether he can maintain that structure once Silva starts forcing exchanges.
Delgado doesn't need to beat Silva at Silva's own game. His best path is almost the opposite: stay disciplined, use his length and avoid allowing the fight to become a prolonged firefight.

Moreno brings championship-level experience into a fascinating matchup with Joseph Morales.
Morales is dangerous and enters with momentum, but Moreno has spent years competing against the elite of the flyweight division. His durability, scrambling ability and experience in high-pressure fights make him our slight lean in what could be one of the closest fights on the main card.

Prediction: Waldo Cortes-Acosta
Blaydes remains one of the heavyweight division's most accomplished wrestlers, meaning Cortes-Acosta's takedown defense could determine the fight.
If Blaydes consistently gets to his wrestling, the matchup changes quickly. If Cortes-Acosta keeps it standing, his boxing, jab and activity should give him the advantage.
We slightly favor the younger momentum of Cortes-Acosta.
